Dr. Cori Green will teach providers the basics of adolescent anxiety and highlight the components providers need to know to appropriately treat patients with anxiety, including how to diagnose these patients. In addition, comorbidities, epidemiology, assessments and treatment options will be covered. Dr. Green will also cover the relationship between substance use and anxiety and how interviewed children point to their anxiety as their primary reason for substance use. We will also cover implementation of the SBIRT approach during this event.
Cori Green, MD, MSc
Cori Green, MD, MSc is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of General Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College and she is also an Assistant Attending Pediatrician at New York-Presbyterian Center for Children's Health. Dr. Green is board certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Green joined WCMC in 2009 and her clinical and research focus has been on integrating pediatric mental health care into the medical home.
