- Services The UK North Fork Valley Community Health Center offers Women’s Health Care, Preventive Medicine, Complete Physicals, Pediatric Care – Acute and Well Child, Sports Physicals, Dietary Services, Immunizations- Child and Adult, Full Laboratory Services, Acute Illness/Injury/Minor Emergency Service, Pre-employment/DOT/ School Exams, Worker’s Compensation, Family Planning, Obstetrics Care, Newborn Care, and Mental Health Services. The health center offers care on a sliding fee scale to uninsured patients and accepts both Medicaid and private health insurance. |

Family Dental Clinic The dental department is located adjacent to the Family Medicine Clinic and offers a wide range of comprehensive dental services. Preventive services and oral health education are provided by a full time dental hygienist. Restorative care and oral surgery are provided by dentists jointly appointed by the University of Kentucky Colleges of Dentistry and Medicine as well as general practice dental residents from UKCD. Their location alongside the medical department provides a unique opportunity for a multi-disciplinary team approach to care for the overall wellness of the patients. The dental department offers care on a sliding fee scale to uninsured patients and accepts both Medicaid and private dental insurance. |

Ronald McDonald Care Mobile The dental department is also the recipient of a two-chair dental office on wheels, donated by the Ronald McDonald House Charity Global and supported by the Ronald McDonald House Charity of the Bluegrass. It is valued at over $350,000 and is full of state-of-the-art dental equipment including several computers and digital x-ray equipment. Contracts are negotiated with school systems, Head Start programs, and daycare systems and children ages 0-21 are treated on the mobile, while more difficult cases are referred back to the fixed clinic. |
