Description - Services PrimaryPlus, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Kentucky and Ohio, is a private, not-for-profit community oriented primary care system. It provides quality primary medical care and health services to a service area that includes all, or portions of, the population from nine counties in Kentucky and four counties in southern Ohio. PrimaryPlus is the major provider of women’s health care in its service area. PrimaryPlus has locations in Vanceburg, Flemingsburg, Maysville and Tollesboro, Ky., as well as clinics in each of the six public schools in Lewis County. The Vanceburg location offers family medical care, pediatrics, and internal medicine at the Lewis Co. Family Health Center; special care for women and the prenatal population at the Eleanor Johnson Women's Center; dental services at the Lewis Co. Family Dental Clinic, fitness and rehabilitation services at the separately licensed Fitness First and Rehab Center and a retail and 340B pharmacy. Tollesboro FHC offers family medicine and a pharmacy services. Fleming Co. FHC offers family medicine. Maysville OB/GYN is a full service clinic focused on women’s health care. Maysville FHC offers family medicine and pharmacy services. Emergency services, dietary consultations, clinical pharmacy consultations, specialty clinics in cardiology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, laboratory and x-ray, services including ultrasounds, and screening mammography services are provided on-site at most locations. All PrimaryPlus locations are Telemedicine sites affiliated with the University of Kentucky and the Kentucky TeleHealth Network. Additionally, PrimaryPlus has a collaborative relationship with Comprehend, the regional MH/MR group, for Clinical Psychology and substance abuse services at multiple sites.
