| Description
- Services Family Care Center has long provided Medical and Dental services for children at their Red Mile Road Center. It was established in February 1990 as a component of a comprehensive project to empower young families to become self-sufficient. The purpose of the clinic is to provide primary health care to children from birth through 18 years of age. The Staff includes a pediatrician/medical director, three nurse practitioners, and a dentist under contract with the University of Kentucky. The Center provides multiple services in a single setting, serving also as a major training facility for health related professions. Services: Medical and dental care; health education; speech therapy; physical and occupational therapy; and social and mental health services. WIC counselors, Medicaid counselors and Comprehensive Care counseling are available at the clinic. |
